  1. Chemerong Waterfall 

Located in Dungun, Chemerong Waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in Malaysia. With a height of 205 meters, the waterfall is reachable by one or two hours of jungle trekking depending on hiking experience. The cool and refreshing atmosphere in Cemerong Waterfall is a great place for visitors to chill and enjoy the serenity in the forest.

2. Kenyir Lake

Kenyir Lake is the largest man-made lake in Southeast Asia. Surrounded by tropical rainforest, the lake is a popular area for fishing, boating, canoeing, jungle-trekking and swimming too.

3. Sekayu Waterfall 

Located in Kuala Berang, this seven-tiers waterfall creates natural pools that are ideal for swimming and retreat for visitors. The surrounding area is well-equipped with changing room, picnic spots, resting hubs, camping sites and chalets. Sekayu Waterfall resides in Sekayu Recreational Forest which is a beautifully landscaped area which offers tropical fruit orchards, restaurant, swimming pool, mini zoo and children playground.

4. Bukit Puteri 

Bukit Puteri or Princess Hill is a place you should head to if you want to view Kuala Terengganu from a height. When one is standing on the peak of the hill, you will see the view of Terengganu River while on the other side of the hill, you will see a panoramic view of the town. Visitors normally hike up the hill for photography opportunities or just to enjoy the leisure moment on top.

5. Masjid Kristal

Masjid Kristal or Crystal Mosque, is unique from its glittering exterior. The mosque is coated with steel, glass and crystal which are the main materials in the mosque’s structure. This 12-year-old mosque can accommodate up to 1500 worshippers at one time. Besides being a worship place, Masjid Kristal is also a popular photo shoot place especially for weddings.
