We all know countdown to a new year is the most awaited event as it signifies new beginning with fresh start and new spirit. With New Year’s Eve just around the corner, many people in Malaysia are looking for a place to join the countdown. Kuala Lumpur is no doubt one of the best cities in Southeast Asia for an exciting New Year celebration. Here are the five locations you can choose from to welcome the New Year in the Klang Valley.

  1. KLCC Park, Kuala Lumpur

Situated within walking distance from the iconic Suria KLCC Shopping Centre, KLCC Park is a tranquil and family-friendly place for most of the time in the year. However, it transforms into massive concert venue with live band performances in New Year’s Eve with a great round of fireworks. You can also have a short walk around the park or chill out at the restaurants nearby while waiting for the countdown.
